Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt failsafe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to five years without the need to refuel. Portable nuclear power with rapid deploy capability can replace similar-sized diesel generators, and provide critical asset support for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases. Radiant’s unique, practical approach to nuclear development utilizes modern software engineering to rapidly achieve safe, factory-built microreactors that leverage existing, well-qualified materials. Founded in 2020, Radiant is on track to test its first reactor next year at the Idaho National Laboratory, with initial customer deliveries beginning in 2028.

    • Technical teams (IT, Data Engineering, System Admins)
    • External vendors and implementation partners
  • Ensure stakeholders are aligned on scope, tradeoffs, timelines, and adoption expectations.

Documentation & Change Management

  • Produce clear documentation including:
    • Process flows
    • System requirements
    • Configuration decisions
    • Training materials and SOPs
  • Support user training and change management to drive successful adoption.

Deliverables

  • Documented enterprise business processes and system requirements
  • Contribution to enterprise system down-selection and business cases
  • Successful ERP / enterprise system implementations and rollouts
  • Improved workflow automation and reduced manual processes
  • Clear handoff to system administrators and operations teams post-implementation

Skills & Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 4–7 years of experience supporting or leading enterprise system implementations
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Finance, Purchasing, Inventory); manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience operating in highly regulated environments (nuclear, aerospace, defense, medical device, or industrial manufacturing)
  • Strong ability to translate business processes into system requirements and configurations
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally

Preferred

  • ERP implementation experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to MES, WMS, or supply chain systems
  • Experience supporting system rollouts across multiple departments

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
