The simple task of buying software, services, or tools at work has become hopelessly complicated at even the most innovative companies in the world. Today, enterprises spend $120T+ per year globally (>30 times larger than annual consumer e-commerce spend) and rely on vendors more than ever before to run their businesses.

Our cofounders started Zip in 2020 to address this seemingly intractable problem with a purpose-built procurement platform that provides a simple, consumer-grade user experience. Within the last 4 years, Zip has created a new category and developed the leading solution in this $50B+ TAM space. Today, the world’s leading companies like OpenAI, Snowflake, Anthropic, Coinbase, and Prudential rely on Zip to manage billions of dollars in spend.

We have a world-class team coming from category-defining companies like Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google. With a $2.2 billion valuation and $370 million in funding from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, BOND, DST Global, and CRV, we’re focused on developing cutting-edge technology, expanding into new global markets, and—above all–driving incredible value for our customers. Join us!

Your Role

Zip is hiring a Solution Sales Account Executive with domain expertise in GRC or TPRM to lead our Risk Orchestration solution. This quota-carrying role spans both new logo and customer expansion opportunities — helping risk, compliance, security, and procurement teams modernize their third-party risk and approvals processes.

This isn’t just a sales role — it’s a chance to build and lead a new category motion, work hand-in-hand with Product, and shape how we deliver risk orchestration to some of the world’s largest enterprises.

What You'll Do
  • Own a product-specific quota for Zip’s Risk Orchestration solution

  • Partner with core AEs and GTM teams on targeted enterprise opportunities

  • Drive stakeholder alignment across risk, compliance, IT, and procurement personas

  • Bring strategic product and field feedback to our product leadership team

  • Serve as a go-to internal leader for risk orchestration across enablement, messaging, and customer success

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of enterprise software experience, ideally with 2+ years in GRC, TPRM, or related risk platforms

  • Strong track record driving 6-figure+ deals with security, compliance, and audit teams

  • Excellent cross-functional selling skills — comfortable aligning risk with IT, legal, and procurement

  • Strategic operator: knows how to shape product thinking based on customer signals

  • Passion for building — not just closing — and driving a solution to market

The salary range for this role is $250,000 - $325,000 OTE. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.

Perks & Benefits

At Zip, we’re committed to providing our employees with everything they need to do their best work.

  • 📈 Start-up equity

  • 🦷 Full health, vision & dental coverage

  • 🚠 Team building events

  • 🌴 Flexible PTO

  • 💻 Apple equipment plus home office budget

  • 💸 401k plan

We're looking to hire Zipsters and that means hiring people who take ownership, communicate openly, have an underdog mindset, and are excited to increase the pace of innovation for every business in the world. We encourage all candidates to apply even if your experience doesn't exactly match up to our job description. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workspace where everyone (regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and more) feels like they belong. We look forward to hearing from you!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
