With access to our network of highly rated issuing carriers and reinsurance partners, you can secure coverage with less stress and uncertainty. Built from the ground up, our purpose-driven technology simplifies workflows, enhances responsiveness, and eliminates the burden of outdated legacy systems.

About Talage:

At Talage, we’re redefining how commercial property and casualty insurance is distributed. Our API-first platform empowers agents, brokers, MGAs, and carriers to simplify and digitize the quoting experience. By removing friction from the submission and underwriting process, we enable insurance professionals to quote faster, bind smarter, and grow profitably.

As part of the Mission Underwriters portfolio, Talage is entering a pivotal stage of strategic growth—scaling our technology, expanding partnerships, and reshaping the future of digital insurance distribution. Joining now means becoming a key architect in this next chapter.

This is more than a sales role—it’s an opportunity to influence the direction of a rapidly evolving company as we embark on an exciting strategic journey to modernize insurance distribution.

Purpose:

We’re seeking an Enterprise Sales Leader with 7–10 years of experience in commercial insurance or Insurtech SaaS sales. As a key member of our leadership team, you’ll help agencies, MGAs, and distribution partners modernize how they access and quote markets through Talage’s cutting-edge comparative rating solutions.

Essential Duties/Functions:

Develop and manage a robust pipeline of enterprise and strategic channel opportunities across agency, aggregator, and MGA segments.

Lead consultative discovery sessions and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to commercial lines workflows.

Educate prospects on the value of digitization, automation, and data-driven quoting using Talage’s API-first platform.

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to design a seamless, customer-centered buyer journey.

Consistently meet or exceed revenue and performance goals.

Maintain accurate forecasts, activity records, and CRM documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Qualifications:

7–10 years of experience in insurance SaaS or Insurtech sales.

Minimum of 5 years leading or contributing to large enterprise sales cycles

Deep understanding of commercial P&C insurance products (BOP, Workers’ Comp, GL, Commercial Auto).

Proven success working with or selling to agents, brokers, or MGA distribution channels.

Strong grasp of comparative rating tools and insurance technology ecosystems.

Entrepreneurial mindset—self-motivated, disciplined, and thrives in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Skilled in consultative, value-based selling with the ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic business impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Agency Management Systems (AMS) and comparative rater integrations.

Experience leveraging discovery-based sales frameworks.

Advanced virtual presentation and demo skills.

Understanding of API integrations and SaaS workflows within Insurtech.

Competitive Base Salary

Uncapped Commissions with performance accelerators

Career Growth Opportunities within a rapidly scaling Insurtech platform

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
