About the Role

LRN is seeking an exceptional Enterprise Sales Executive to join our North America team.

As part of our Generalist Enterprise team, you will drive new business growth within organizations with 1,500+ employees across a broad range of industries, excluding Manufacturing and Financial Services, which are supported by dedicated sales teams. You will partner with executive leaders to strengthen ethics, compliance, culture, and risk management initiatives through LRN's Catalyst platform and advisory solutions.

Our team is intentionally small, highly collaborative, and built around high performers who take ownership of outcomes and deliver measurable results.

The successful candidate will own a strategic enterprise territory, build and convert new-logo pipeline, and lead complex buying journeys by connecting LRN's solutions to measurable business outcomes. This role requires a seller who can create a compelling point of view, multi-thread across buying committees, and build the business case and urgency required to move sophisticated enterprise deals forward.

This role carries significant impact, visibility, and opportunity for a high-performing seller who wants to build strategic relationships with C-level executives while delivering meaningful business results

What you’ll do:

  • Own and deliver against an annual enterprise sales quota of $900K+
  • Build, manage, and convert a strategic pipeline of opportunities across enterprise organizations with 1,500+ employees outside the Fortune 500
  • Develop strategic account plans and proactive points of view for target prospects, including cross-functional stakeholder maps that guide deal strategy and multi-threading
  • Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and contract execution
  • Engage and influence C-level stakeholders, including General Counsel, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officers, CHROs, CIOs, CTOs, and other senior executives
  • Lead a value-based selling motion by uncovering meaningful business problems, quantifying impact, building compelling business cases, creating urgency, and connecting LRN's solutions to measurable customer outcomes
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships around emerging issues in ethics, compliance, culture, risk management, technology, AI, and organizational change
  • Partner with Sales Development to drive proactive outbound prospecting and strategic account penetration across a diverse set of industries
  • Orchestrate complex, multi-threaded deals involving Legal, Procurement, IT, and executive stakeholders
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline and forecasting discipline in Salesforce, including clear close plans and documented steps to closure for active opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Onboarding, and Delivery teams to ensure successful client outcomes

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Significant enterprise B2B sales experience selling complex solutions; 10+ years preferred, with flexibility for candidates who demonstrate sustained enterprise success
  • 5+ years selling SaaS or subscription-based enterprise platforms
  • Demonstrated success achieving $900K+ annual quotas within enterprise accounts (1,500+ employees)
  • Demonstrated success closing $300K+ enterprise deals involving multiple stakeholders and complex decision processes
  • Proven success in a value-based selling motion, including uncovering business problems, quantifying impact, building business cases, creating urgency, and tying solutions to measurable outcomes
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to engage General Counsel, Compliance, HR, Risk, CIO/CTO, and other C-level stakeholders in meaningful business conversations
  • Deep expertise in consultative and solution-based selling, with the ability to lead with business value rather than product features
  • Experience managing long-cycle enterprise sales processes involving Legal, Procurement, IT, and executive stakeholders

This role is best suited for enterprise sellers who:

  • Consistently perform in the top tier of their sales organizations
  • Are true net-new hunters who combine disciplined outbound execution with strategic account planning
  • Build cross-functional stakeholder maps, multi-thread early, and proactively manage complex deal strategy
  • Take ownership of outcomes and respond to setbacks by adjusting strategy and execution rather than externalizing results
  • Excel at building credibility with senior executives and translating business challenges into measurable value
  • Combine strategic thinking with disciplined execution, including rigorous forecasting and close-plan management
  • Demonstrate curiosity, coachability, resilience, and a strong growth mindset
  • Use AI and modern sales tools effectively for research, prospecting, preparation, account strategy, and productivity
  • Demonstrate sustained success and progression in prior roles, with thoughtful rationale for career transitions
  • Strongly align with LRN's values around ethics, integrity, and responsible business
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Bring experience selling into Corporate Legal, Risk, Compliance, HR, IT, or other executive buying centers
  • Background in GRC, compliance, ethics, Legal Tech, HR Tech, Learning Tech, or adjacent enterprise SaaS is preferred

Benefits
  • Flexible PTO plus US public holidays and Sick Time.
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits.
  • Excellent 401K with employer match
  • Life Insurance, short-term and long-term disability benefits
  • Health & Wellness reimbursements
  • Health Saving & Flexible spending account
  • Employee Assistance Plan.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
