Lead and execute sales strategies for B2B SaaS ventures, close high-value deals, mentor junior sales talent, and develop scalable sales processes.
Job Overview:
InVitro Capital is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Enterprise Sales Director to lead and execute sales strategies across multiple early-stage B2B SaaS ventures. You’ll be responsible for closing high-value deals, refining scalable playbooks, and mentoring junior sales talent. This role requires a player-coach mindset and deep familiarity with complex B2B sales cycles. You’ll work directly with founders and GTM teams to drive growth and shape how these companies go to market.
Work Setup: On-site from Monday to Thursday; remote on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Own sales outcomes for one or more ventures, from early prospecting through to close and expansion.
- GTM Playbook Development: Build and refine scalable, repeatable sales processes that can be adapted across companies.
- Deal Ownership: Close high-value B2B SaaS deals—navigating complex sales cycles, cross-functional stakeholders, and evolving buyer needs.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and coach Sales Associates and junior AEs to improve pipeline quality, close rates, and messaging precision.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, growth, and leadership to ensure alignment between sales insights and product evolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6–12+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally in B2B SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated success closing mid- to high-six-figure deals with multi-stakeholder decision cycles.
- Proven ability to build and execute sales strategies in unstructured, startup settings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools and modern sales tech stack.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Startup or venture studio experience, particularly in early-stage or founder-led companies.
- Exposure to vertical SaaS, AI-based platforms, or SMB-focused enterprise software.
- Experience creating sales enablement tools, objection-handling frameworks, and onboarding processes for new reps.
- Player/coach background—someone who can both lead and execute.

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.
