The Enterprise Project Manager will lead complex projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget while managing teams and communication with stakeholders.
Red Clay Enterprise Project Managers are responsible for the direction, execution, coordination, control, and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of Red Clay and the client. Overall, the PM is responsible for managing scope, schedules, resources, risks, costs, quality, communication, and change management. This is a fully remote position.

Project Manager Responsibilities
- Building framework for PMO.
- Own the success of projects and team members in delivering value to Red Clay clients.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan including key tasks, milestones, and deliverables to drive execution and track delivery progress.
- Drive execution of planned tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within the prescribed scope, and within budget and time frames.
- Remove obstacles and impediments to ensure operational objectives are met.
- Provide regular communication to project stakeholders, executives, and senior management regarding project status, budget, risks, decisions, delivery quality, and resource-related issues using appropriate monitoring tools and techniques.
- Use appropriate verification and documentation techniques and change order processes to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Establish and enforce efficient and disciplined issue and risk identification, troubleshooting, decision-making, mitigation, and escalation processes to ensure quick and effective problem resolution.
- Create, maintain, and deliver comprehensive project documentation including a project charter, project plans, finance and staffing plans, risks and decision matrices, and status reports.
- Oversee and approve all project deliverables prior to client receipt and track and document client acceptance.
- Identify, secure, and assign resources necessary to achieve planned project objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders, Red Clay staff, and third-party vendors.
- Communicate company goals, project objectives, and role expectations to team members.
- Mentor team members and provide feedback by monitoring and appraising team job performance.
- Enforce compliance with the policies and procedures of Red Clay and the client.
- Assist in RFP efforts by leading the scoping, estimating, and planning efforts for projects of varying sizes and complexity, writing proposal responses and SOWs, and contributing to other proposal-related activities.
- Identify and support the securing of new service delivery opportunities.
- Drive adoption of challenge standards and contribute to the evolution of Red Clay’s delivery methodology.
Qualifications
- Mid-Level professional experience in project or program management leading large, complex, and cross-functional projects with emphasis implementing packaged software solutions
- Experience with computer off the shelf solutions software implementations, modifications, and pivoting projects
- Experience or exposure to the Utilities Industry, Utilities Software Implementations, or Utilities Data Management Solutions is preferred
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- Expert knowledge of project management tools , methodologies, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiar with agile methodology, experience interacting with and guiding agile teams
- Ability to operate with limited information and ambiguity
- Experience influencing and leading enterprise cross-functional teams, including business leaders
- Highly proficient critical thinking, analysis, business planning, and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment
- Understanding and ability to facilitate collaboration on creative alternatives to project challenges with subject matter experts
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field experience
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position will be responsible for supervising all Red Clay team members, including contractors

- Experience in professional services consulting
- Utilities industry experience
- Experience in deploying ITIL framework services
