Enterprise Project Manager – IT Engineering & Infrastructure
$50/hour on a W2 + benefits | Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) | Dublin, CA

Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with over 20 years of experience supporting global technology leaders, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager to join the client’s IT Engineering & Infrastructure PMO. This role will support complex cloud and on-prem infrastructure initiatives and operate as an extension of the internal PMO, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

Project & Program Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure initiatives across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk mitigation
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining visibility into cross-project dependencies
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, align stakeholders, and maintain clear communication throughout execution
  • Ensure accurate documentation and completion of required deliverables

Governance & Execution

  • Monitor project scope, financial tracking, risks, and issues, escalating as needed
  • Maintain governance standards and structured change management practices
  • Support forecasting, reporting, and cost control activities

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as primary liaison between engineering teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and leadership
  • Provide clear, concise status reporting and executive-level updates
  • Drive cross-functional coordination to maintain project momentum and alignment

Operational Transition

  • Support smooth transition from implementation to operations through documentation and knowledge transfer
  • Coordinate with engineering and support teams to validate operational readiness

Qualifications & Skills

  • Enterprise-level IT project or program management experience, ideally supporting infrastructure or cloud initiatives
  • Strong governance and delivery experience within a PMO environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams)
  • PMP, CAPM, or related certifications preferred

Details of Position

  • Hybrid; onsite 3 days per week in Dublin, CA
  • $50/hour W2 contract role
  • Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with match
  • Contract with strong possibility of extension
