The impact of the Program Manager to Coupa:
The Program Manager will be responsible for managing complex programs and projects across the organization. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, developing and executing strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering technology solutions with a focus on the intended business value. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in delivering complex programs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage multiple programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within the intended scope and within budget.
- Develop and maintain program plans, including resource allocation, timelines, cross project dependencies and risk management strategies.
- Partner with Business Partners and key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives.
- Facilitate regular program and project status meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or changes in scope effectively.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the successful delivery of programs and projects.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
- Evaluate program and project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Promote Coupa practices and methodologies in program management and apply a continuous improvement mindset to the development of a mature project management discipline within Coupa.
What you will bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in IT program and project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex programs and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), and emerging technologies.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and make informed decisions.
- PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or equivalent certification preferred.
The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:
•Based in California:US02 $93,925 -$110,500
•Based in Colorado: US04 $84,150- $99,000
•Based in New Jersey: US02 $93,925 -$110,500
•Based in New York: US02 $93,925 -$110,500
•Based in Washington: US03 $89,250 -$105,000
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
