The Enterprise Portfolio Director is responsible for ensuring that the enterprise portfolio is strategically aligned with the organization’s overarching objectives by providing their expertise, delivering maximum value while managing critical transformation initiatives. This includes overseeing governance, portfolio performance, risk management, and resource optimization, as well as leading complex strategic efforts including mergers & acquisitions and divestitures with associated Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs).  The Enterprise Portfolio Director works closely with executive leadership, program managers, legal experts, and business leaders to ensure that all initiatives within the portfolio are executed effectively and aligned to the company’s broader goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Visionary Direction:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a strategic portfolio management approach that drives business objectives, including divestitures and TSAs.

  • Establish governance structures to ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, particularly in post-transaction scenarios.

Performance Oversight & Executive Reporting:

  • Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring initiatives meet KPIs, milestones, and strategic objectives, including divestiture and TSA goals.

  • Regularly report to senior leadership on portfolio progress, highlighting risks and opportunities and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Portfolio Optimization & Value Delivery:

  • Continuously assess and optimize the portfolio by prioritizing initiatives, reallocating resources, and eliminating inefficiencies, particularly in divestitures and TSAs.

  • Work with cross-functional teams and legal partners to ensure smooth integration and synergy across divestitures, TSAs, and ongoing initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for executives, legal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication on portfolio and divestiture progress.

  • Collaborate with legal and business teams to ensure alignment between portfolio strategies, business goals, and regulatory compliance, particularly for divestitures.

Risk Management & Governance:

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to the portfolio, especially those arising from divestitures and TSAs, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Oversee the governance of divestiture-related processes and transitions, working closely with legal teams to manage risks and ensure smooth operational handovers.

Continuous Innovation & Organizational Growth:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying lessons learned from divestitures and TSAs to future portfolio initiatives.

  • Lead efforts to integrate emerging technologies and best practices into portfolio management, ensuring agility and competitiveness in a rapidly changing market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MS) preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio management, with at least 8 years leading and managing large-scale, complex portfolios, including divestitures and related post-transaction agreements.

  • Strategic Portfolio Management Expertise: Proven success in aligning enterprise portfolios with business strategies, driving innovation, and delivering measurable value, with significant experience in managing divestitures and TSAs.

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage senior stakeholders, and influence executive decision-making in a global organization.

  • Legal & Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the legal and regulatory considerations surrounding divestitures, TSAs, and corporate restructuring. Proven experience partnering with legal teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

  • Financial Acumen: Expertise in budgeting, financial forecasting, resource allocation, and ROI analysis, with a focus on managing financial aspects of divestitures and related transactions.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Mastery in presenting complex portfolio information to executives and stakeholders at all levels; ability to build consensus and influence decisions.

  • Technological Proficiency: Extensive experience with enterprise-level portfolio management tools (e.g., Salesforce CRM, financial modeling platforms, etc.).

  • Performance-Driven: Track record of optimizing portfolio performance through data-driven insights, resource management, and agile decision-making.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

  • Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) or similar process improvement certifications

Estimated base pay range for this role is $114,900 - $164,200/Annual.
The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.  
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
