This role sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, field execution, and sales alignment — with a specific focus on delivering high-impact programs tailored to the unique needs of our East Coast enterprise customer base.

You’ll work closely with the AMER Go-to-Market (GTM) & Strategy Marketing team, Sales, Channel, and Cloud Alliance partners to deliver integrated campaigns that accelerate engagement, conversion, and revenue growth. This is a highly visible, strategic role ideal for a hands-on marketer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Regional Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute a high-impact field marketing plan aligned with AMER GTM strategy and enterprise business goals for the East region.
  • Integrated Campaign Management:
Own the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns including regional events, account-based marketing (ABM), webinars, executive experiences, and digital activations that drive demand across the funnel.
  • Sales Partnership:
Act as a strategic partner to Enterprise and Commercial Sales teams; understand territory needs, customize programs to sales motions, and influence pipeline outcomes.
  • Channel & Cloud Alliance Alignment:
Collaborate with key channel partners and cloud alliance teams (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, VARs) to co-develop and execute joint marketing initiatives that support shared revenue goals.
  • Customer Engagement & Advocacy:
Deepen relationships with strategic customers through curated experiences, roundtables, and targeted outreach to increase loyalty and retention.
  • Market Intelligence & Innovation:
Leverage industry insights and account trends to inform campaigns, messaging, and field strategies that differentiate Veeam in the enterprise market.
  • Measurement & Optimization:
Track campaign performance and pipeline contribution using data-driven insights; optimize for ROI and report results to stakeholders.
  • Event Ownership:
Lead the planning and execution of regional events — including flagship programs, customer dinners, and third-party sponsorships — with full end-to-end accountability.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
Manage the East Enterprise field marketing budget efficiently, ensuring proper allocation across programs and maximizing return on investment.
Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on enterprise field marketing
  • Demonstrated success supporting field sales and driving pipeline in a high-growth environment
  • Experience partnering with channel ecosystems and cloud alliances to co-market or co-sell solutions
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and flawless execution
  • Proven experience with event planning, ABM, and integrated campaign execution
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Data-driven mindset with an ability to track and report on pipeline impact
  • Comfortable with 30% travel across the East Coast for events, planning sessions, and customer engagement
  • Must reside on the U.S. East Coast (EST or CST preferred for alignment with Sales)
  • Work with a passionate, high-performing global team
  • Flexible, remote-friendly environment with a strong culture of collaboration
  • Opportunity to make an immediate and visible impact in a key growth region
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and career development opportunities

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
