As a Enterprise Hunter Account Executive on Databricks' Sports team, you know how to sell innovation through customer acquisition and expansion and can guide deals forward to compress decision cycles. You love understanding products in-depth and are passionate about communicating their value to customers and partners. You will be selling to a named list of target customers with a focus on acquiring new logos and increasing consumption. Along with the chance to close exciting deals, we also offer accelerators above 100% quota accomplishment. An ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of AI/ML, public cloud, data platforms, and how they drive value across industries. You will report to the Director of our Sports team.

The impact you will have:
  • Assess your accounts and develop a strategy to identify and engage all buying centers
  • Use a solution approach to selling and creating value to acquire new customers
  • Identify the most viable use cases in each account to maximize Databricks' impact and expand our footprint
  • Build value with all engagements to promote successful negotiations through close
  • Be Customer focused by delivering technical and business results using the Databricks Platform
  • Promote Teamwork...it makes the Dreamwork!
What we look for:
  • Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud
  • 5+ years of experience with Open-Source Technologies and build vs buy decision-making
  • 5+ years of experience with Value Selling Methodologies
  • A creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion, specifically land-and-expand
  • Sales experience within big data, public cloud, and AI/ML
  • Consistent success exceeding quotas, ideally focused on closing new logos and growth in consumption
  • Bachelor's Degree
