Your Role: The Enterprise Contingent Workforce Program Consultant will lead and manage our organization’s contingent workforce program. This individual will oversee all aspects of the contingent labor lifecycle, including vendor management, workforce planning, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, and system governance. The ideal candidate has experience in managing large-scale contingent labor programs, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of employment laws and vendor partnerships.
Your work:
Program Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive contingent workforce strategy that aligns with business objectives, drives scalability, and enhances operational efficiency.
- Lead program governance, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance reporting to ensure optimal program performance, cost-efficiency, and
Vendor & MSP Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for staffing vendors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and Vendor Management Systems (VMS) , fostering strong partnerships and ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing structures with vendors to optimize program delivery and minimize costs.
Operational Excellence
- Manage end-to-end contingent worker lifecycle including requisition management, onboarding, offboarding, and extensions to ensure streamlined processes and improved user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, Procurement, Legal, and IT to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices contingent workforce processes.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and contingent workforce regulations, mitigating potential risks and maintaining a compliant program.
- Implement robust classification and documentation practices to minimize risk and ensure consistency across the contingent workforce.
Data & Reporting
- Design and develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into contingent labor usage, costs, and trends enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Present program performance and recommendations to leadership, driving informed decision-making and program optimization.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Educate and advise hiring managers on contingent workforce best practices, promoting strategic workforce planning and optimized talent acquisition.
- Act as a trusted advisor on workforce strategy and optimization, providing expert mentorship and support to drive business success.
Required Experience, Education and Skills
- 6+ years’ experience scaling contingent workforce programs
- BA/BS degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Change management experience
- Strong knowledge of contingent labor classifications, employment law, and contract labor compliance
- Proficiency in using VMS platforms
