Smartbridge is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with Master Data Management (MDM) expertise to lead a large-scale Boomi-based MDM initiative for one of our enterprise clients in the construction industry.
This role will own the design and execution of the enterprise data architecture — aligning people, process, and technology to deliver a single source of truth across critical business systems.
What You’ll Do:
Establish Data Governance: Define governance policies, standards, and stewardship across core domains (customers, suppliers, employees, projects, code sets) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
Design the Future-State Architecture: Develop and communicate a target architecture blueprint aligning ERP, MDM, and Project Financial Management (PFM) systems with long-term business objectives.
Map Architecture to the Program Roadmap: Create architectural views and sequencing aligned with ERP/MDM/PFM deployment schedules, ensuring dependencies, integrations, and data flows are understood and managed.
Define Integration & Interoperability Frameworks: Drive integration strategies for connecting ERP, MDM, and custom applications using API standards, middleware, and synchronization models.
Align Business & Technology: Partner with business leaders and program teams to translate requirements into scalable architectural solutions supporting construction project execution, financial controls, and compliance.
Key Requirements:
Strong background in Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks
Construction industry experience is required
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks
ERP implementation experience a plus
Typically requires 5+ years of enterprise-level experience
Location: Remote, will be working ET or CT time zones with occasional travel to the Washington DC area.
