DealMaker is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the capital markets ecosystem with a mission to make online capital raising mainstream. We empower founders, CEOs, and operators to raise capital digitally, both from their own communities and through strategically marketed campaigns. No other platform provides an end-to-end solution like ours—and our track record speaks for itself, with over $2B raised across 1,000+ campaigns. We power the largest online capital raises for customers like EnergyX ($88M), Green Bay Packers ($65M), Miso Robotics ($72M+), Monogram Orthopaedics (Nasdaq:MGRM) and many others, with 3 IPOs in the past year alone. We are quickly expanding our horizons and are seeking talented team members to join us on our journey to transform the global capital market.

Who you are
The Enterprise Account Manager is DealMaker’s most senior relationship lead—entrusted with guiding our highest-profile, most strategic issuers through their capital raise and beyond. As a core driver of issuer sentiment and repeat raise performance, this role demands full ownership of the customer relationship, deep subject-matter fluency across marketing, compliance, and operations, and the ability to instill confidence and momentum across every interaction.
In this role, you’ll act not just as an advisor, but as the quarterback—commanding complex, multi-stakeholder campaigns and ensuring they run efficiently, professionally, and at the highest standard of excellence. You will anticipate needs, solve problems before they arise, and ensure every issuer sees DealMaker as a white-glove, full-service partner.

What you will do
Customer Relationship & Strategic Guidance
. Own the end-to-end relationship with Enterprise and strategic-tier issuers, becoming the single most trusted voice across their campaign and capital formation lifecycle.
- Serve as a consistent, proactive presence—guiding, coaching, and holding issuers accountable while establishing DealMaker as a premium, repeat partner.
- Operate with executive-level presence and confidence, earning trust with C-suite stakeholders and their advisors.
- Actively contribute to repeat raise strategy and execution—your success is measured by the number of issuers that return.
- Set clear expectations around shared responsibilities across issuer, platform, and third parties—ensuring clarity, accountability, and momentum from day one.
- Translate high-level strategic vision into tactical, day-to-day execution across internal and external teams.
Deal Execution & Problem-Solving
- Navigate complex regulatory, technical, and marketing challenges with confidence—bringing project management discipline and rapid problem resolution.
- Own critical-path milestones across legal, marketing, onboarding, and platform setup—ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Act as escalation point for high-risk campaigns, leading war-room coordination with legal, compliance, marketing, and product when needed.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration to resolve bottlenecks, enhance visibility, and deliver a seamless experience.
- Represent the voice of the customer in strategic product discussions and process design.
Proactive Campaign Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor every aspect of the raise with rigor—identifying red flags early and intervening with precision and authority.
- Manage the conversation around campaign performance - helping issuers understand what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change to hit their goals.
- Work collaborative with the Marketing Services team to provide deep market context and campaign data to shape long-term fundraising plans and repeat capital strategies.
- Leverage DealMaker’s technology to create efficiencies for both the internal team and the customer—always seeking ways to scale impact.
- Know when to ask for the next raise—and position DealMaker as the only logical partner for the job.

What skills you need
- Extensive direct experience in capital formation, investment banking, venture capital, or securities law (training will also be provided).
- Experience managing high-stakes accounts in capital markets, investor services, securities law, or high-growth fintech environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of complex campaigns with measurable performance impact.
- Familiarity with digital investor marketing, compliance operations, and institutional-level account management.
- Relationship Management Excellence: High trust, high-touch relationship builder who can maintain control and confidence even under pressure – advising at the C-suite level and maintain high-touch engagement.
- Marketing & Industry Fluency: Deep working knowledge of what drives performance in capital raising campaigns.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
