About Nerdio

At Nerdio, our mission is to simplify the lives of IT professionals and maximize their Microsoft cloud and end user computing investments.

We support organizations of all sizes looking to deploy, manage, and cost-optimize native Microsoft technologies. We partner with Enterprises and Managed Service Providers all over the world to add value on top of their existing native Microsoft investments like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft InTune.

Created in 2016, Nerdio has always taken a market-leading and collaborative approach to cloud deployment and management. In fact, our product roadmap is greatly influenced by the regular feedback we receive from having seen companies deploy AVD into production environments several thousand times using Nerdio technology.

Today, Nerdio is used in over 50 countries by more than 15,000 organizations of every size and vertical. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and support, which starts with identifying and supporting the best staff possible.

We are a fast-moving, nimble company looking for individuals who are collaborative, empathetic, driven and who love to move at the speed of light. If you want to be part of the AVD transformation that Microsoft and Nerdio are leading, then we want to speak with you.

About The Role

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will partner and align with Microsoft’s sales teams, including but not limited to Cloud & AI Specialists, AI Workforce Specialists, Global Black Belts, Channel Managers and Account Technology Specialists to uncover AVD opportunities where Nerdio can plugin and help companies deploy, manage, optimize, and secure an AVD environment. Alignment with Microsoft is essential.

We need relationship builders with a strong understanding of VDI and EUC technologies to continue to grow our most prized partnership with Microsoft and its sales teams. You must be highly motivated and take an entrepreneurial approach to growing the relationship and revenue in addition to being a team player.

Our ideal SAE is highly skilled with a partnership selling approach. You’ll be juggling lots of opportunities at the same time – so being organized and having a positive outlook is key – and don’t be afraid to ask those stupid questions, working together is how we roll here!

Integrity means everything to us – so you will need to do what you say you are going to do. This may involve coordinating with other departments in the wider team, putting your excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills to good use!

What You'll Do

  • Partnership & Pipeline Development: Collaborate with Microsoft's sales teams, channel partners, and direct customers to identify AVD opportunities where Nerdio can offer solutions. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth and increase Nerdio's market presence. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
