About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to support our growth within the US. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter who understands the sales process. You know how to sell innovation and can drive deals forward to compress sales cycles. Always seeking new opportunities, you must be able to prospect within your territory with a strong ability to close net new accounts.
What will you be doing?
- Being the owner of your territory.
- Managing, developing, and closing new client relationships.
- Partnering with our solution specialists to ensure a technical win.
- Exceeding pipeline and revenue targets, and landing new logos through your referral network, partner activity, outbound contact, and supporting marketing events and campaigns.
- Highlighting Conduktor’s value proposition to raise curiosity and interest, and organising demos and meetings with clients and our technical team.
- Utilizing a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers.
- Having an in-depth knowledge of our solutions and value propositions.
What experience are we looking for?
- You have 4+ years’ experience in an Account Executive (or equivalent) role within SaaS or a related industry.
- You have a minimum of 3+ years of closing sales experience.
- You’ve had prior success in SaaS sales; preferably selling enterprise data software.
- You have experience encouraging customers at senior levels to think differently about a problem or challenge.
- You understand some or all of the data technology ecosystem, especially Apache Kafka, Data Streaming, and the broader technology landscape; essentially the key players, technologies, and challenges being solved.
- You’re a proactive, independent thinker with a high energy and a positive attitude.
- You have ideally previously worked in a startup.
