Description

About Native

Native is defining a new category in Cloud Security by empowering organizations to build truly secure-by-design environments. We provide a unified abstraction layer across AWS, Azure, and GCP, allowing security teams to seamlessly define and actively enforce policies without needing to master complex, cloud-specific configurations. Founded by industry veterans from AWS and Dome9, backed by $42M in funding, and trusted by Fortune 100 enterprises, we are looking for exceptional talent to take extreme ownership and help us scale the future of multi-cloud security.

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Native, you’ll take full ownership of the sales cycle in Los Angeles - from creating pipelines to closing strategic enterprise deals. You’ll be one of the first GTM hires in the region, acting as Native’s trusted representative to customers, prospects, and partners. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from zero, and knows how to navigate complex enterprise security sales. You’ll work closely with leadership, product, and technical teams to shape pricing, positioning, and repeatable sales processes - while turning early traction into long-term customer relationships.

Ideal candidate will be located in LA.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Operated alone as a sales hire in a territory or built a sales program from ground up
  • You have 5+ years of experience selling B2B cybersecurity solutions, ideally in early-stage or high-growth startups, with cloud security experience preferred
  • You’ve helped take a product from early traction to meaningful revenue milestones (e.g., $1M → $10MARR).
  • You’re comfortable running full-cycle enterprise sales - prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and close.
  • You’ve sold complex technical products to large organizations and built trusted relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and compliance stakeholders.
  • You operate independently and confidently in high-ambiguity environments.
  • You communicate clearly and persuasively and can translate product value into compelling customer stories.
  • You’re deeply customer-focused and enjoy collaborating with technical teams to solve real security problems.
  • You actively leverage AI and modern sales tools to prioritize, engage, and close more effectively.
  • You have experience working with and leveraging channel partners within your territory.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful early-stage equity.
  • A rare opportunity to be the first U.S. sales hire at a fast-growing cybersecurity startup.
  • Direct influence on product direction, GTM strategy, and how the company scales.
  • Close collaboration with experienced founders, security experts, and operators.
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to build something from the ground up.

Why Join Now?

This isn’t just a Founding Account Executive role.

It’s a chance to help define how Native goes to market - and to shape a company and category from the very beginning. Let’s get to work.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
