Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced, driven Account Executive to generate annual recurring revenue for beqom's North American sales team. Reporting to the Head of Sales, North America, you'll own a portfolio of enterprise named accounts and run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first conversation to close.

You'll partner closely with Sales Development and Marketing to build a strong pipeline, and work with deal teams to create compelling, value-based sales assets. You'll be selling a purpose-built compensation platform into a market where pay equity and transparency are becoming a board-level priority for enterprise buyers.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise named accounts, partnering with Sales Development and Marketing to generate qualified leads.
  • Develop deep expertise in beqom's compensation, pay equity and transparency, and performance management solutions.
  • Own complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles end-to-end, from qualification to close.
  • Create business cases and value assessments that support enterprise buying decisions.
  • Partner with deal teams to shape opportunity plans and sales deliverables.
  • Represent beqom at industry events, seminars, and in the press.

What you bring

  • Experience in HR tech, compensation tech, or pay equity - whether as a practitioner, consultant/advisor, or an AE selling into the space.
  • Demonstrated quota-carrying experience in enterprise SaaS sales, ideally in a high-value, low-transaction-volume environment.
  • Experience with deliverable-based selling, building critical-path assets such as presentations, business cases, and value assessments that shape value-based sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to navigate enterprise buying committees and build multi-threaded relationships across prospect organizations.
  • Strong presentation and listening skills, with the ability to engage multiple senior stakeholders and C-level contacts at once.
  • A track record of closing deals through long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot or similar CRM tools.

Why join us?

  • Your career, your design. Unleash your ambition in our dynamic, autonomous environment.
  • Drive meaningful change. Build a fairer future for every employee by joining a market leader that is improving the world of work.
  • Belong to something bigger. Collaborate with a passionate, diverse and talented team around the globe.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
