For this Enterprise Account Executive role at Databricks, you will be selling to leading Fortune 500 CPG accounts. As we continue our rapid expansion, we are looking for a creative, execution-oriented Enterprise Account Executive to join the team and maximize the phenomenal market opportunity that exists for Databricks. We are looking for an Enterprise AE that can compress decision cycles by penetrating accounts fast and demonstrating value to the customer.  Along with the chance to close exciting deals, we also offer accelerators above 100% quota accomplishment. 

The impact you will have:

  • You will have a direct influence on the data strategy of the leading CPG companies today
  • You will allocate Databricks resources to break into new accounts and grow existing relationships
  • Meet with C-Level Executives to Practitioner level, both IT & business, to demonstrate Databricks can make an impact on business outcomes
  • You will communicate account strategy to Databricks Senior Leadership on a regular basis
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
  • You will use a creative, fail-fast approach to prospecting, selling and creating value for customers
  • You will build a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience with at least 2 years in the Enterprise space
  • Experience with Value Selling Methodologies
  • A creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion
  • Sales experience within open source technologies, big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales 
  • Proven years of experience exceeding sales quotas
  • You love understanding a technical product in-depth and are passionate about communicating its value to Customers
  • Grit, Grind, Tenacity. As a greenfield account executive, we are looking for those that are excited to break into new logos and have experience doing so
  • Bachelor's Degree
