About Perceptyx
At Perceptyx, we’re on a mission to help organizations turn employee insights into measurable impact. Our employee experience platform leverages the science of listening, behavioral nudges, and predictive analytics to help clients elevate engagement, retention, and performance. We’re a team of innovators fueled by purpose, collaboration, and excellence — and we’re looking for someone who wants to play at the highest level.

The Role
As a Corporate Account Executive at Perceptyx, you will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with corporate prospects (<8,000 employee threshold) to effectively position Perceptyx’s portfolio of products, solve complex enterprise business problems, and generate new business revenue growth.

This is a full-lifecycle, consultative sales role where you will manage accounts from initial outreach through contract negotiation and execution. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love solution selling, and have a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets QoQ, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do
  • Prospecting & Sales Cycle Management: Identify, engage, and manage corporate prospects, running full-funnel sales cycles from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute tailored territory and account plans to drive pipeline velocity, revenue growth, and market penetration.
  • Consultative & Solution Selling: Conduct deep discovery to understand prospect pain points, positioning Perceptyx's product suite as an indispensable solution for employee engagement and performance.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key executive stakeholders across HR, Operations, and C-suite leadership.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial business agreements that set customers up for long-term success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Development (SDRs), Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver seamless customer acquisition experiences.
  • Pipeline Governance & Reporting: Maintain pristine CRM records (Salesforce), deliver accurate weekly/monthly revenue forecasts, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.

What You Bring
  • Experience: 5–7 years of B2B SaaS account executive experience, specifically owning end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
  • Sales Track Record: Consistent history of hitting or exceeding sales quotas quarter-over-quarter (QoQ).
  • Consultative & Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in consultative/solution-based selling, CRM systems, and data analytics tools to manage territory performance.
  • Executive Presence & Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to and negotiating with executive decision-makers.
  • Strategic & Adaptable Mindset: Strong organizational skills to balance multiple complex opportunities simultaneously in a fast-moving, evolving market environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (4-year) or equivalent practical experience.

Our Interview Process & AI Transparency
At Perceptyx, we value your time and want our interviewers to be fully engaged in the conversation.
  • Note-Taking: We use Metaview.ai to record and summarize our interviews. This allows our hiring team to focus on you rather than typing notes, ensuring a fairer and more accurate evaluation of your experience.
  • AI Disclosure: While we use AI to assist in summarizing interview data, all final hiring decisions are made by Perceptyx employees. We do not use automated tools as the sole basis for selecting or rejecting candidates.
  • Your Choice (Opt-Out): Participation in recorded interviews is voluntary. If you prefer not to have your interview recorded via Metaview, please notify your recruiter prior to the start of the session. Opting out will not negatively impact your candidacy.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
  • US: $100,000 USD Base + $100,000 variable
  • Canada: $120,000 CAD Base + variable
    • Note: Final compensation is determined by factors including experience, geography, and skills.

Benefits:
    • Health & Care: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; maternity, paternity, and adopter leave benefits; Compassionate Care Program (paid time off for family care); and bereavement leave inclusive of pet parents.
    • Retirement: [401k / RRSP] employer matching programs (Canadian employees contribute to a pension plan with an employer match).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
