This role will a cover a territory spanning Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, & Washington and we are currently targeting candidates located within territory.

Description

We are seeking an Enterprise Account Director based on the West Coast to sell our Pentesting and Offensive Security services to our Enterprise US customers and prospects. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle - from identifying and prospecting new accounts to building a strong pipeline, delivering impactful demos, and closing deals with Enterprise US customers. Additionally, you’ll develop and execute upsell and cross-sell strategies within your customer portfolio, contributing directly to their success—and ours. You will work with a supportive team that will provide training and the opportunity for career advancement. This is a full-time, remote opportunity. 

What You’ll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle within the designated territory, driving engagements from prospecting to close.
  • Conduct in-depth account research to identify high-value targets and key decision-makers.
  • Continuously generate and progress pipeline opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Identify upsell potential and expand footprint by uncovering new opportunities and cultivating additional stakeholder relationships.
  • Forge strategic alliances with industry leaders and ecosystem partners to enhance market penetration.
  • Refine and optimize sales processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Solution Architecture teams to ensure alignment with client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Engage with clients directly and regularly, fostering trust and ensuring long-term satisfaction through in-person interactions.
You Have
  • 5+ years of experience engaging enterprise clients within the cybersecurity and professional services sectors.
  • Demonstrated passion for multi-channel sales strategies and driving results across diverse platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage executive stakeholders.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets, showcasing a relentless drive for performance and growth.
  • Proven expertise in SaaS solution sales to CTOs, CISOs, and senior security leadership.
  • Deep understanding of the security product landscape and experience navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Highly driven, with a strong work ethic and a results-first mindset, consistently pushing to outperform objectives.
  • Experience guiding clients through technical sales processes, ensuring alignment with business and security goals.
  • Adept at leading high-impact, in-person engagements to strengthen relationships and drive deal closure.

Pay Range Disclosure 

Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The OTE salary range for this role is ($250,000 - $300,000) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.  The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
