Nokia of America Corporation, Engineering Support (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate Nokia network systems;
Provide software and hardware support to Nokia engineers, including ensuring appropriate software and hardware for technical engineering equipment;
Troubleshoot and provide time-sensitive support regarding network and IT problems for Nokia’s Executive Briefing Center and executive-level users;
Manage the internal service desk;
Work with other internal departments to ensure collaboration and resolution of network and IT issues; and
Communicate technical issues appropriately to both technical and non-technical audiences. #LI-DNI
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA may be permitted up to 1 day per week or 20%.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, the employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.
Must have 6 years of experience providing high-touch network and IT support to executive-level personnel;
Must have 6 years of experience supporting and communicating with executive audiences regarding IT issues;
Must have 5 years of experience creating and maintaining network user instructions or manuals;
Must have 5 years of experience supporting, operating, and troubleshooting network and IT issues; and
Must have 5 years of experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA may be permitted up to 1 day per week or 20%.
International travel required up to 10%.
Domestic travel required up to 10%.
