What Makes This Role Great:


In this role, you will sit at the strategic intersection of defense engineering and customer liaison, taking end-to-end ownership of sophisticated military GPS technologies. You will directly influence critical defense capabilities by empowering cross-functional teams, driving product delivery, and maintaining key relationships across the U.S. military services.


Key Exciting Responsibilities


  • Serve as the primary strategic voice and customer liaison for military clients across the Air Force, Navy, and Army.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams through the complete product development lifecycle for parallel program efforts.
  • Own total program execution, including schedule management, risk mitigation, financial performance, and baseline integrations.
  • Drive process operational discipline and scale our growing military GPS and positioning portfolio.
  • Oversee key contractual and technical documentation deliverables, including formal SDRL and CDRL data packages.

Essential Skills & Experience:


  • 4 to 7 years of proven program management experience leading complex hardware and software engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full product development lifecycles in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • Proven customer-facing expertise with a talent for balancing technical customer demands with internal engineering capacity.
  • Strong project control proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Bonus Points For:


  • Prior technical experience with military GPS systems, navigation platforms, or PNT technologies.
  • Hands-on familiarity with defense contracting frameworks, including SDRLs/CDRLs, NDAs, PIAs, and TAA compliance.
  • Track record of establishing scalable program management processes in a fast-growing environment.

Compensation:  Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
