Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of backend engineers responsible for a significant portion of our media pipeline infrastructure. This team will own the media storage solution and the infrastructure for orchestrating the pipeline, playing a crucial role in advancing Frame.io's "bring your own storage" solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5 backend engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the media storage solution and pipeline orchestration infrastructure.
  • Drive the advancement of Frame.io's "bring your own storage" solution.
  • Ensure the team delivers high-quality platform capabilities that serve enterprise customers at scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of engineering management experience leading backend engineers.
  • Proven track record of shipping platform capabilities to serve enterprise customers at scale.
  • Strong technical background in backend engineering.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with media technology and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency in Go and Python programming languages.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $132,700 -- $267,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
