Lead the Infrastructure and Platform teams that provide the secure, scalable, and intuitive foundations every CoinTracker engineer builds on – empowering them to ship reliable, high-quality products quickly and confidently.

• Implement scalable infrastructure and platform foundations that support the next phase of CoinTracker’s growth

• Establish a roadmap for developer productivity improvements (e.g., ephemeral environments, platform tooling) that drive meaningful improvements in developer satisfaction and velocity

• Deliver key shared services such as auth, audit logging, observability adopted across all product teams

• Develop and communicate a clear vision and long-term strategy for the Infrastructure and Platform teams

• Lead a team of 5-6 engineers across Infrastructure and Platform, providing clarity, prioritization, and coaching

• Define and drive the roadmap for infrastructure reliability and scalability, developer experience, and core platform services

• Guide the evolution of our architecture toward modular, service-oriented systems

• Foster a culture of ownership, learning, and technical excellence

• Role-specific

  • 2+ years of engineering management experience leading infrastructure or platform teams

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure or platform engineering

  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure), observability, CI/CD, and modern infrastructure-as-code practices

  • Experience building or scaling shared platform services (e.g., authentication, internal APIs, service frameworks)

  • Familiarity with architecting and developing software to enterprise-grade requirements, especially around security, governance, and compliance

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making pragmatic trade-offs to deliver high-impact outcomes

  • Strong architectural instincts and ability to guide teams toward sustainable, scalable solutions

  • [Bonus] Experience in crypto or financial systems
    

The starting salary for this position is between $264,000-$297,000 USD. Candidate's location does not impact the posted salary range. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of job-related factors including relevant skills, education, and experience. This position also includes equity in CoinTracker and benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO.
