About the jobAs the manager for this team, you will lead a talented group of engineers in delivering enterprise-grade solutions end-to-end, spanning both backend and frontend systems.
To be successful in this role, you’ll mentor your team, collaborate effectively with cross-functional leaders, and advocate strongly for customer needs. You'll also identify opportunities to create impact by contributing to solutions for organization-wide challenges.
What you’ll do- Build and drive the product roadmap to deliver a reliable, robust, and scalable product that matters to our customers
- Lead and grow a high-performing team, creating a culture of transparency in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve key technical and product trade-offs decisively, unblocking critical decisions where product vision requires balancing with engineering scalability and feasibility.
- Lead and grow a team of passionate and talented engineers, and work with engineers across multiple geographies to ensure we deliver results efficiently
- Provide support and guidance that enables the team to self-organize and to achieve sustained high velocity and predictability
- Champion employee growth through robust career development, coaching, and mentoring, guiding senior contributors to maximize their full potential
- Retain top talent by defining clear progression paths, setting goals, conducting evaluations, and collaborating on individual objectives
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration, working closely with peers in Product Management, Design, and Program Management to bring diverse viewpoints and goals together
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in full stack (front-end, APIs, and middle-tier services) development
- 3+ years of managing software engineering teams
- Experience in delivering highly scalable, enterprise-quality solutions
- Managing teams in dynamic, startup-like environments
- Experience building and cultivating strong engineering practices and processes
- Experience working with customers and supporting a large customer base
