What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing technical guidance for the WSF-M program’s space systems development and integration
- Identifying and assess risk items affecting system performance
- Managing task assignments to ensure mission assurance
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Government counterparts, members in the department, space vehicle contractor, and internal and external stakeholders
- Generating weekly status on space system integration and development
- Supporting development of executive level briefings for Aerospace Executive Reviews and Air Force Readiness Reviews
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited program in engineering, physics or similar technical discipline
- Typically, twelve or more years of experience focused on space vehicle development, test and integration, launch, and sustainment
- Experience providing anomaly assessment and leading resolution of space vehicle issues
- Established objectivity, sound judgement, and ability to work flexibly in high intensity, fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and demanding customers
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience with collaborative systems thinking, consensus conclusions, and leading small teams to resolve technical issues
- Willing to travel domestically approx. 10-20%
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

- Masters or PhD degree from an accredited program in engineering, physics or similar technical discipline
- Prior experience working with space vehicle on Space and Missile Systems Center missions
- Established capability to present complex technical concepts in a way that matches and engages a variety of teams and all levels of management
- A record of technical direction and project management, working collaboratively and side by side with co-workers, and actively contributing to the team
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with numerous internal and external organizations
