VP, DevSecOps
LOCATION: Santa Monica, CA
TITLE: VP, DevSecOps
REPORTS TO: CTO
This a key technology leadership role and is accountable for the TigerConnect SaaS cloud platform and its operations. You will be responsible for defining the infrastructure strategy and continuous improvement of our cloud offering. Other responsibilities include refining architecture, standards and processes for disaster recovery, security, monitoring system reliability, performance, networks and storage. This is a high profile, strategic role tasked with building and maintaining a best in class SaaS operations function that operates with a Cloud-first and DevSecOps mindset.
What You'll Own:
- Automation of CI/CD pipeline
- Automation of environments, IaaS
- Security compliance
- Maintain site reliability
- Monitoring and instrumentation
- Alerting and Incident management
- Grow, mentor and manage the team
- Manage infrastructure, costs and vendor relationships
What You've Accomplished:
- 5+ years of experience as a system engineer/administrator
- 7+ years of experience in technical management
- 4+ years of experience managing and leading teams
- 5+ years of experience in incident management
- Demonstrated experience leading DevOps teams.
- Proven experience in infrastructure management of mission-critical, customer-facing platforms at scale, with significant reliability and uptime requirements.
- Experience with managing cloud based infrastructure and resources, specifically AWS including optimizing the cost of Cloud based workloads.
- Possess experience in DevOps with proven results enabling continuous delivery and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Possess some experience and background in infrastructure architecture, systems administration, network administration and storage administration.
- Extensive experience with instrumentation, enterprise monitoring and reporting tools.
- Demonstrates the business and financial acumen necessary to develop and present data-based ideas and solutions in a clear, concise, organized manner.

- Experience leading, directing, and mentoring DevSecOps professionals.
- Ability to collaborate with senior engineering peers
- Solid leadership skills in leading operations organizations towards Cloud-first operations, DevOps and security mindset
- Good organization change management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
- Strong analytical capability and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- AWS, Chef, Jenkins, Grafana, Graphite, ELK stack, PagerDuty
- Bonus: FedRAMP or HiTrust compliance experience
- Bonus : AWS certifications
