ADP’s Innovation Center, Studio55, is looking for a full time, self-motivated Front-End UI engineer with deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML who are comfortable writing custom JavaScript but also know when to apply off-the-shelf solutions for the problem. We also value people who are passionate about user experience and have an eye for improving the UI. We currently work with TypeScript, React, and Redux, however the ability to adapt with changing technology is an important strength. We are open to candidates ranging from the mid (3-5 years experience) to senior (5-7 years experience) level.

THINGS YOU’LL DO:

• Responsible for development of highly-responsive, web-based user interface using React
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs prior to development
• Optimize existing features for user experience and improved efficiency
• Work directly with other engineers in facilitating seamless integration of the Frontend with the backend APIs
• Write clean, reusable and quality code, adhering to best practices
• Learn and contribute to new and existing technologies
• Follow Scrum methodology for software development

EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years frontend / UI experience
• 3+ years writing single page apps using React and Redux / Flux
• Experience with ES6, and strong JavaScript skills
• Knowledge of Angular, Vue.js or similar frameworks are a huge plus
• Experience with TDD (test driven development). Knowledgeable in writing unit, integration and end to end test.
• Experience interacting with RESTful HTTP APIs
• Solid understanding and experience with UI layouts, CSS/SASS, and libraries such as Bootstrap
• Significant experience of debugging using browser-based tools
