ADP’s Innovation Center, Studio55, is hiring a full time Sr. Application Developer (Back – End) with demonstrated experience technology expertise in the development, integration, launch, scaling, and maintenance of new and existing products and solutions. We are open to candidates ranging in the (5-7 years experience) level.

THINGS YOU’LL DO:

• Ensuring high application quality and performance. Developing a resilient, reliable and scalable solution.
• That is a hands-on role, with coding/feature deliverables, following unit tests standards and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Coordinating the workflow between the end user, product OWNER, developer, and yourself.
• Coordination of deploying process to different environments. Work may occasionally require unusual hours (evenings / weekends).
• Help the support team triage bugs and troubleshoot production issues as soon as they are identified.
• Participate actively/follow Agile / Scrum development methodology — daily standups, poker planning (development estimation), tasking, etc.

EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:

• Solid knowledge and hands on experience of Java (at least 3 years)
• Ability to develop clean, maintainable, concise backend code
• Hands on experience with SQL and database design.
• Able to develop REST APIs as microservices
• Experience working in Spring / Spring boot
• Experience of Maven, Gradle and GIT.
• Experience with JPA (Hibernate ) or any other ORM framework
• Experience in distributed messaging queue system
• Good understanding of test-driven development or BDD
• Willing to take challenging work and be a good role model for the rest of the team
• Self-driven with minimum guidance

HOW YOU’LL STAND OUT:

• Experience with AWS service such as S3, Lambda and RDS.
• Rule engine experience such as RedHat Drools
