Space Enterprise Integration Engineer

Be involved in one of the new, high visibility activities at Aerospace, one that will be ingrained in strategy Corporation-wide and in our workplace culture - Enterprise Integration. You'll be working challenging problems involving all customer-facing organizations and the Engineering and Technology Group. Enterprise Integration is defined as the integration of systems and capabilities across the US National Security Space, civil, commercial, and allied space enterprise. The specific objective is to operate US Government space as an enterprise to beat the threat, together with governance to maintain synchronization. The mission of the Space Enterprise Integration Department within the Corporate Chief Engineer's Office (CCEO) is to facilitate, coordinate, and execute company-wide Enterprise Integration efforts. You'll be working with multi-disciplinary teams, both in support of our customers and in the development of new capabilities internal to Aerospace to make Enterprise Integration happen.
Key Functions
- Take a leadership role in the execution of existing Enterprise Integration processes and in the development of new ones
- Assist the Director of Space Enterprise Integration in developing and instilling an Enterprise Integration culture across Aerospace
- Aid multi-disciplinary teams in forming and tracking Enterprise Integration strategies
- Maintain the Enterprise Integration website
- Add to existing efforts and capabilities within the Corporate Chief Engineer's Office for discovering, developing, and maintaining opportunities to apply Enterprise Integration while maintaining awareness of collaborative efforts across the company
Qualifications
Required
- BS degree in engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or related field
- Typically eight years of technical experience
- Strong leadership potential, organizational skills, and ability to make connections across the company
- Ability to flex across multiple disciplines
- Strong understanding of one or more Space Enterprise missions
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Current Secret clearance issued by the US Government with the eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI. US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
- Ability to travel
Preferred
- Training, experience, or understanding of one or more of the following: Strategy, organizational change
- Experience supporting multiple customers across the US space enterprise
- Experience leading teams
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Current TS/SCI clearance issued by the US government with the eligibility to obtain special access clearances. US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
