Senior Software Engineer
~6 month to 1 year Independent Contract position with opportunity for extension. Start Date ASAP~
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of a robust web-based tool
- Joining a small, cross-functional and hybrid-remote team
- Collaborating with front-end, data science, and integrations specialists but being responsible for full stack tool functionality
- Managing security of proprietary code
Basic qualifications:
- Experience developing MERN stack applications
- Experience working with ML pipelines deployed with AWS
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and collaborating one on one with Designers, UX Researchers, and product stakeholders
- Excellent cross-discipline communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in impact-focused work
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with creative coding tools (i.e. Processing, p5.js)
- Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other microcontrollers and hardware
- Strong portfolio showcasing exemplary problem solving abilities and excitement in exploring new concepts
