As a Senior Android Engineer on the Engineering team, you will work closely with our backend engineers to build features that drive our customer experience.  You’ll work with product, design, and a great engineering team with a fun culture.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product, design and engineers to design and build new consumer facing features.
• Work closely with our design team to bring creative ideas to the UI and craft a beautiful Android experience
• Gathering and applying performance and instrumentation knowledge to the client app 
• Test, deploy, and monitor changes on test and production environments
• Work with customer support teams in investigating and addressing issues.
• Contribute to the broader engineering culture and processes.

 Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years professional Android development experience
• You’ve shipped one or more products to the Play Store (include links for review)
• Familiarity with good design patterns and best engineering practices within Android
• Able to evaluate technical approaches to problems and provide viable alternative solutions
• Able to clearly and effectively communicate with others of varying technical levels
• Experience with Kotlin, Jetpack, ViewModels, MVVM
• Experience building custom UI
• Experience with Git / Github
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with gRPC and GraphQL APIs
• Experience working on e-commerce applications
