Working under the direct supervision of the DW and BI Architect, the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer will design, implement and deliver the functional and technical components of SAC BI. This role will also create, plan, budget and forecast solutions using SAC Planning.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the effort to gather, analyze and model business data (customers, financials, operational, organizational), key performance indicators (KPIs), and/or market data (competitors, products, suppliers), using a broad set of analytical tools and techniques to develop quantitative and qualitative business insights and improve decision-making
  • Lead the design and solutioning of SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementations in BI, planning, forecasting, forecast adjustments and integrating generated forecasts with upstream processes, reports, and dashboards to support critical business KPIs
  • Interact with business stakeholders to understand the requirements to a blueprint, configuration, testing, migration, support, and implement continuous enhancements
  • Manage and lead the SAC projects to ensure timely delivery
  • Build new management reports in SAP Analytics Cloud as required
  • Understand the technology landscape and how it affects the areas of business; trends associated with the technology; functional area and industries and the value propositions for the business to adopt new digital transformation
  • Support the setup and development of an overall SAC governance model to position the solution for future reporting and analytics operations and enhancement
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in IT from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience required
  • At least 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing SAC Analytical and/or Reporting work streams for large or complex systems for manufacturing industry sectors required.
  • 2 to 4 years of Finance and Accounting reporting experience


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)

  • Proficient on SAC as a planning tool, designing/implementing data models
  • Expert in creating Models and Dimensions in SAC
  • Expert in SAP Embedded BPC, CDS Views, HANA Graphical views
  • Proficient in building Data actions and Allocation Process
  • Proficient in building SAC stories and Digital board rooms
  • Working knowledge in building Analytical applications
  • Working knowledge of SAP Fiori, HANA Studio
  • Expert in writing formulae in importing jobs
  • Proficient with Self-service BI
  • Expert in configuring delta loads using import connection
  • Expert in building connections with sources to SAC and data imports
  • Working knowledge in writing R and Python - Scripts
  • Basic understanding of RDBMS and familiarity with SQL
  • Demonstrates thought proven abilities and technical experience with SAP Analytics technologies: S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, BW/4HANA, SAP Fiori, HANA XS applications, Google/Azure/AWS Cloud technologies and BI/visualization tools
  • Proficient with SAP data structures, End to End dataflow, SAC predictive capabilities, augmented analytics, forecasting, etc.
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in an ever-changing, problem-solving environment
  • Proficient leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
