The Position:

Socialive is seeking senior engineers for our platform team as we expand and grow. As a senior platform engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Working closely with your teammates and cross-functional collaborators to build and deliver dynamic, engaging capabilities while maintaining a positive and collaborative remote work environment
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers, and leading execution across the team

• Owning the quality and reliability of the backend services owned by your team, across a variety of technologies
• Building out the tools to expand our cloud operations and engineering pipelines to be more repeatable, automated, observable, and auditable
• Working with our team of engineering leaders and product managers to identify dependencies and support feature deliverables across the product space

• Maintaining a focus on best-in-class engineering principles and process, from code architecture and quality to agile processes and ceremonies

Technologies you’ll work with and experience you’ll ideally bring:

• JavaScript/Typescript with Node.js services and client SDK libraries, utilizing domain-driven design principles
• Amazon Web Services infrastructure and deployments, utilizing Elastic Beanstalk, RDS/Aurora, Docker/Containerization, VPCs, EC2, Lambda, Amplify, S3, Elasticache, and other services we research and adopt
• WebRTC infrastructure and management
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• A security- and reliability-first mindset
• Infrastructure-as-code and GitOps
• Cross-functional leadership and communication skills

This position is 100% remote, based in the U.S.
