Responsibilities:
- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to produce statements of work documents to facilitate BlackLine Services work
- Must have a deep functional and technical knowledge of the BlackLine products and how it integrates with the other products in the suite of products
- Manage and lead a team of solutions engineers to successfully produce statements of work and speak to the overall implementation process
- Effectively leads a team to meet team and department goals
- Ability to attract and retain top talent within the team
- Effectively communicate with senior management
- Develop relationships with the sales teams, partners and customers in support of Blackline's sales objectives
- Provide continuous support and required assistance to sales team and other groups in the services department
- Work closely with the Product team on future enhancements and addition to the list of strategic products
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ensure prospect/client satisfaction through thorough communication and proper handoff to the Professional Services team
- Effectively manage and maintain client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Superior organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to lead a group in assertive, respectful, and positive manner
- Strong communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work both in a team environment and individually
- Bachelor's degree in Business
- Minimum of six years of experience with the BlackLine financial close suite of products
- Minimum of ten years of experience in the audit/accounting or technology industry
- Global SaaS (Software as a Service) Implementation experience required
- Proven success in leading high-performance teams, achieving results through others, and being a strong team
- player
- Excellent product and process knowledge
- Strong customer orientation focus and success in creating a superior Customer Experience
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with the executive team, managing peers, and internal
- and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems or resolve issues in a timely manner
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Accounting software
- Strong organizational, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills a must
- Highly prefers accounting background or experience
- Software background preferred
- Technology background/experience preferred
- Previous management experience
- Approximately 10% travel required
