Responsibilities:

• Work with customers and internal stakeholders to produce statements of work documents to facilitate BlackLine Services work
• Must have a deep functional and technical knowledge of the BlackLine products and how it integrates with the other products in the suite of products
• Manage and lead a team of solutions engineers to successfully produce statements of work and speak to the overall implementation process
• Effectively leads a team to meet team and department goals
• Ability to attract and retain top talent within the team
• Effectively communicate with senior management
• Develop relationships with the sales teams, partners and customers in support of Blackline's sales objectives
• Provide continuous support and required assistance to sales team and other groups in the services department
• Work closely with the Product team on future enhancements and addition to the list of strategic products
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Business
• Minimum of six years of experience with the BlackLine financial close suite of products
• Minimum of ten years of experience in the audit/accounting or technology industry
• Global SaaS (Software as a Service) Implementation experience required
• Proven success in leading high-performance teams, achieving results through others, and being a strong team

• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with the executive team, managing peers, and internal

• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Accounting software
• Strong organizational, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills a must
• Highly prefers accounting background or experience
• Software background preferred

• Previous management experience
• Approximately 10% travel required
