We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Marketplace team. As a fast-growing startup, ProducePay is constantly iterating and solving new problems for our Marketplace product. As an engineer on this team, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple features based on the needs of the business. We're looking for highly adaptable and curious engineers who are excited to work on lots of different problems.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with the product, design, sales, and account management teams to build new software products that meet our customers’ needs.
  • Take ownership of technical direction, design, and architecture for new features within our platform.
  • Solve problems in our Marketplace problem-space.
  • This role is for our frontend team which is focused on our web and hybrid mobile applications.
  • Rapidly iterate on new features, experiments, and designs. We’re looking for someone who knows how to balance quick iteration of ideas with clean, sustainable code.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers using your awesome knowledge and experience. Whether through code reviews or pair programming, we want to learn from you.
  • Continue to grow your skill-set and knowledge. We are committed to investing in ourselves and our team

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with building web applications. You’ve seen some stuff, and whether it’s good, bad, or ugly it continues to inform the decisions you make on the software you build.
  • Experience with React
  • Our stack includes React, GraphQL, and CSS. We’re looking for team members excited to work with these technologies.
  • Experience shipping production-quality software for 5+ years.
  • Experience working with agile software development processes.
  • Any mobile app development experience using React Native, Cordova, or Ionic would be helpful

Located in the financial district of Downtown LA, we're close to bars, restaurants, and a wide selection of public transit plus a freeway hub. Remote employees have co-working offices that they can work from.
