Summary
mPulse Mobile is looking for a talented Senior Front End Software Engineer that will fit into our internal technology team. This role is primarily focused on a combination of new feature development, API enhancement, optimization, client integration support and product maintenance. In addition, this role will collaborate with our offshore development partner to continue to deliver and support a high quality intelligent mobile messaging product. Finally, based on seniority and experience, the role will include mentoring and training of junior engineering team members. The ideal candidate is a senior level software engineer having worked with technologies used by mPulse, such as React, Python, Postgres, Celery, and other web engineering technologies. He or she should also have a passion for making the consumer healthcare experience better using communication technology.
*This will be a remote position with options to work in the MN or CA office.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot issues submitted from clients and internal staff for supported applications
• Work with internal designers to create front end using React for new and existing applications
• Help drive best practices in front-end applications, such as proper component structure, testing, etc...
• Ensure implementation of responsive and accessible front-end applications
• Work cross department to help implement front end applications across many back-end services managed by other teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years professional experience with React and Redux
• 3 years of experience in a front-end role
• Professional experience with Python
• Proficiency in working with REST APIs to build front end applications
• Proficiency with writing SQL queries
• Proficiency in writing React unit tests
• Ability to work in a by team providing and receiving feedback
• Experience working in an Agile development
• Coding Boot Camp or similar related education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare industry experience
• High level of proficiency with Python, especially for creating REST APIs
• Professional Experience with Redis
• Professional experience with Celery
• Experience with Elastic Search
