As a Software Development Engineer - Test , you will work on projects in a large range of areas: embedded software programming, cloud and AWS applications development, Web & Native applications development. You’ll be accountable for building world-class automation frameworks designs and development. You will spend tremendous effort studying and designing new methodologies and techniques to facilitate testing, including the state-of-art Machine Learning and Deep Learning methods. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative ideas to test consumer products. You are expected to have industry-leading technical knowledge and solid understanding of principles in software development. You should have in-depth understanding of OOP. Moreover, you need to have broad knowledge of various types of software, their advantages and disadvantages, and be able to choose the best option to be used for development. You will need to have the drive to continuously search for better, more efficient solutions, and an instinct of continuous invention and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for Aspiration products running on embedded, native mobile and web platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts, CI/CD builds.
• Develop and maintain software testing tools.
• Create clear and complete automation system design documentation as well as other quality deliverables.
• Work with Github, CI/CD platforms, Jira, Change/config management tools by partnering with DevOps. 
• Automation test framework design, development and maintenance
• Mobile Native App automation framework design, development and maintenance
• Machine Learning and other new test methodologies development
• Testability and testing tools development

What You'll Bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field or equivalent in engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in software development in one of the programming languages Javascript, Java, C++ or C# or Python
• 4+ years of experience applying Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
• 3+ years of experience in developing either embedded software or Cloud based development including database design and server programming
• 4+ years of experience delivering tasks in a fast-paced environment that required frequent multi-tasking.
• Experience building and designing test frameworks and new test methodologies
• Experience with developing applications using Machine Learning or Deep Learning is a plus
• Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development is a plus
• Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnesses. Experience with open source tools and resources
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
