At Pluto TV, we approach testing differently -- we are testing, and breaking, code constantly, but we help rebuild it better. Software Test Engineers (STE) design Pluto TV’s testing infrastructure and perform tests to examine and validate large-scale content operations and releases. The STE will also act as a representative of the Software Test Engineering Team in scrum meetings and provide input on how to provide better quality coverage for the applications supported.

Responsibilities Include:

Working in and leading an Agile team, highly focused on developing automated tests within an iteration. You will also be mentoring our seasoned testing team on efficient testing strategies for multiple platforms. This position is also responsible for providing a risk assessment on the defects identified and setting the correct severity.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of formal testing experience from planning to execution
• 4+ years of automation experience using Java frameworks
• 3+ years' native applications / OTT Platforms functional testing experience
• 3+ years experience leading a team

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Test Automation and STE Test Automation Standards.
• Knowledge of STE Unified Test Framework.
• Test coverage for application(s) supported.
• Efficient testing strategies.
• Experience in Video Content Delivery Experience is a big plus.
• Exposure to Agile Management tools such as Jira.
