QA Engineer

| Marina Del Rey & Playa Vista

We are looking for a QA Engineer for a full-time position in our office in Marina Del Rey with a technical background and one who is passionate about being a complete product expert and learning new skills. As a member of a growing QA team, you will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality standards for all of our deployments, as well as helping improve the QA process, metrics, test plans and tools selection. As the in-house expert on our public and internal systems, you will have the chance to work with, and add value to, all parts of the organization.

 

What You'll Do

  • Test website performance and usability  

  • Find, document and track defects and validate fixes using JIRA

  • Drive bug prioritization and work collaboratively with engineering, product, and design teams

  • Participate in the release processes

  • Work closely with customer success and other internal teams to triage issues and drive resolution

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing of websites

  • Understanding of Web technologies, protocols and formats (HTTP, HTML, JSON, REST, XML, etc)

  • Experience writing test cases

  • Experience using bug-tracking software such as JIRA

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of Javascript and/or Typescript

  • Experience writing end-to-end tests using javascript framework such as Protractor

  • Understanding and experience testing REST API services

  • Familiarity with Git and Git tooling

  • Experience working as a part of technical support team using JIRA ServiceDesk or similar
