We are looking for a QA Engineer for a full-time position in our office in Marina Del Rey with a technical background and one who is passionate about being a complete product expert and learning new skills. As a member of a growing QA team, you will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality standards for all of our deployments, as well as helping improve the QA process, metrics, test plans and tools selection. As the in-house expert on our public and internal systems, you will have the chance to work with, and add value to, all parts of the organization.
What You'll Do
Test website performance and usability
Find, document and track defects and validate fixes using JIRA
Drive bug prioritization and work collaboratively with engineering, product, and design teams
Participate in the release processes
Work closely with customer success and other internal teams to triage issues and drive resolution
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in manual testing of websites
Understanding of Web technologies, protocols and formats (HTTP, HTML, JSON, REST, XML, etc)
Experience writing test cases
Experience using bug-tracking software such as JIRA
Bonus Points
Knowledge of Javascript and/or Typescript
Experience writing end-to-end tests using javascript framework such as Protractor
Understanding and experience testing REST API services
Familiarity with Git and Git tooling
Experience working as a part of technical support team using JIRA ServiceDesk or similar
