Principal Software Engineer

We’re doing R&D to stay on the cutting edge of the Cell-Wi-Fi convergence.

We need someone with engineering, problem-solving skills who will develop well thought out systems that are robust and extensible. If you’re curious, structured & resourcefulness, this is the job for you. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in and lead design discussions
• Monitor, maintain and optimize configuration data for web and related systems, with a complete understanding of the functional and performance ramification of configuration decisions.
• Develop solutions for complex problems in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Design, develop and test feature enhancements to meet business requirements then package the changes/additions for release including implementation instructions
• Maintain and manage web test, build and staging environments, acting as key front-line contact with internal Quality Assurance and Development Departments for on-going testing of web systems
• Production support as needed.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years related experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with discretion and sound independent judgment.
• Self-motivativated and disciplined
•  Work as a team member with other in-house and external developers
• Strong knowledge of and experience using object-oriented design techniques
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design, concurrency issues, and performance assessment.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Demonstrated expertise with UNIX platforms.
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL Databases
• NodeJS / Modern JavaScript
• AWS experience or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in microservice architecture design
• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience in full stack development
