Job Summary
As the Principal Director of Digital Engineering Integration, you will report directly to the Senior VP of ETG, and will lead the strategic direction and coordination of corporate Digital Engineering (DE) investments on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team to include CSIs, ATIP, Venture projects, and other ETG corporate DE capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will lead the way to effectively implement our our corporate DE strategy by partnering with our customer organizations and responding to emerging needs
- You will primarily focus on DE governance and integration initially, but will establish other leadership characteristics as the role evolves
- You will Interface with all DE-related customer facing elements
- You will recruit (internal and external) and develop digital practitioners needed by our company to solve our trusted partners hardest problems
- You will work towards improved consistency and improved best practices adaptation across DE for our trusted partners
- You will positively influence across all levels of the organization
- You understand different DE strategies at play; you will involve key customers and stakeholders and create strategic alignment.
- You will rally the organization and team around a common DE strategy
- You will foster collaboration by creating interdependencies and spanning organizational boundaries
- You are a strong consensus builder; you will appropriately involve key stakeholders while having the courage to make tough decisions
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or other technical discipline
- Typically, 12 or more years’ experience
- Experience and knowledge with MBSE, Models, and Databases
- Experience and knowledge with M&S/Software Modernization
- Experience and knowledge with Digital Workforce Transformation
- Position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Masters in STEM or other technical discipline
- Experience and knowledge spanning across all of the following disciplines MBSE, analytical modeling, and database development
- Experience and knowledge in M&S across the full spectrum of the M&S pyramid, (DevSecOps/agile software development, and enterprise software architecture)
