Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Innovations Engineer, you will assist with new technology analysis and integration within the Operations Engineering and Innovation team. Technology evaluation will include capability and throughput studies, quality analysis and technical troubleshooting, among others. You will be responsible for summarizing results clearly by using data and making recommendations based on findings. The Innovations Engineer will work on the leading edge of technology development at Ruggable.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform engineering testing and validation with new and existing assets and provide data-backed recommendations
- Identify and pursue opportunities to improve equipment and processes sitewide
- Drive the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices
- Train, coach and motivate personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques
- Work across cross-functional teams to build and deliver products that thrill customers
- Support enterprise-wide goals to improve key quality, service and cost metrics
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Must be able to work legally in the United States without sponsorship
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with and across all levels of the organization
Preferred:
- Experience in LSS tool deployment
- Experience in digital textile printing highly preferred
