THE ROLE:
• Develop a framework for keeping track of loads-producing scenarios and load values on the pod vehicle and wayside structure as the product design matures
• Work with a multi-disciplinary group of analysts in electromagnetics, aero, thermal, and dynamics and controls to facilitate the generation of loads for each major design cycle
• Lead the development and maintain a loads database that will be a repository for all the loads to be used for structural integrity and fatigue assessment
• Develop in-house tools and utilize commercial tools as needed to combine loads and develop fatigue load spectra
• Develop and execute quality control checks on loads prior to release
