Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Lead QA Engineer at our Pasadena, CA location. Responsibilities: Participate in the Software Test Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, test planning and scheduling, testing, defect tracking, and reporting. Build and maintain the Software Test Automation Framework to drive process improvements to software Quality Assurance (QA) processes. Design and automate test cases to validate software systems, including User Experience (UX) and backend API tests. Design, monitor, and analyze QA metrics, including defects, defect counts, test results, and test statuses. Conduct software application regression tests and build and execute component-level test cases. Test software, including create test cases, test plans, test data, and defect write-ups. Review functional and technical documentation to identify requirements for the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus six (6) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus six years of experience.

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of experience must include: Java; C/C++; JavaScript; VBScript; SQL; Web Services testing using Soap-UI/POSTMAN; Test NG and Jenkins frameworks; Protractor; Cucumber; Gherkins; Test Automation tools, including HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT); Web applications compatibility testing using Jenkins, Selenium, and Sauce labs; AIX/UNIX/LINUX Systems; and Relational databases, including MS SQL Server and Oracle.
