Since raising a $45 million Series A investment, the Output team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Lead Full-stack Software Developer. The Lead Developer will take a key role in developing front-end and back-end technologies to support Output’s suite of production tools. They are passionate about building the best musical tools for the diverse artists who use Output’s products, dedicated to producing high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code, and value industry-standard software development practices.
How you'll add value:
- Development of an ongoing audio software project based on a mixed technology stack
- Leadership, architecture, and decision-making related to engineering concerns
- Close collaboration with other engineers, product leaders, designers, and management stakeholders
- Work with the team to deliver reliable, high-quality software that meets agreed-upon requirements on schedule
- Ownership and oversight of engineering processes within the project team
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- 5+ years in deploying full-stack software applications into a high-performance production environment
- 3+ years experience with ReactJS
- Experience with any of Electron, C++/JUCE, and/or Rails desirable
- Experience shipping desktop software utilizing Web technologies
- Dedication to industry-standard development process and long-term codebase quality
