Summary
Grindr is looking for an iOS Developer to join our in-house team. Our teams are small and highly collaborative; the iOS Developer participates in all aspects of the product design cycle, (design, documentation, implementation, quality assurance, and delivery) meaning their role has significant influence both technically and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Participate in code and architecture reviews
- Build with quality and integrity
- Ensure efficiency and scalability of our mobile apps
- Strive for engineering excellence by continuously refactoring and re-architecting parts of the apps
- Drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Demonstrate a passion for software development and high quality code
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of work experience, 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production apps on iOS
- In-depth knowledge of Objective-C and Swift
- Knowledge of web services, specifically REST APIs
