WHY WE NEED YOU

  • The Electrical harness team is responsible for designing and developing the Hyperloop pod and test rigs harnesses. In your role as Electrical Design Engineer you will support the different work package teams to develop our design.
  • In your role will be required to interact with teams across the test and development organization as well as the Systems Teams, as required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and maintain 3D harness routing
  • Create harness drawings + part list
  • Trace technical issues and problems to root cause
  • Support Quality issues
  • Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the integration team
  • Develop and maintain the electrical library while possessing the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and methodologies
  • Proficient in 3D model generation, component, and assembly print generation
  • Strong electrical design experience using NX, CAD, and Teamcenter and experience working with minimal guidance
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical design with the ability to showcase your expertise

NICE TO HAVE

  • Problem solver with detailed research experience
  • Experience within an aerospace, railway, automotive, or defense organization
  • Knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures of wiring harness
  • Experience using Siemens Unigraphics NX 8 or higher
  • Experience using PLM / PDM software such as Teamcenter
  • Ability to manage complex harness routing (>50 connectors) and multi-task effectively
  • Experience in use of Zuken software
