We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 ERP Architect with extensive knowledge of Finance and Project Operations modules and an understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 process analysis, business requirements gathering, impact analysis, and solution implementations, with proven ability to work well with internal and external business partners as well geographically distributed teams is a must. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with key business and IT stakeholders as well as demonstrate leadership by aligning with client business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in every aspect of the solution implementation from analyzing the customer's business requirements to configuring the Dynamics 365 application to meet the customer's needs
  • Collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current business processes
  • Provides in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and evaluates the customer's business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality
  • Demonstrates experience in use of the prescribed Microsoft Dynamics implementation methodology; understands the key activities and deliverables for the client engagement and internal projects
  • Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected
  • Responsible for configuring and customizing the Microsoft Dynamics application to achieve the customer's business requirements
  • If modifications/customizations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics application, the Consultant facilitates the customer's decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process
  • Responsible for conducting acceptance testing and training customer resources to successfully use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics application
  • Has consulting or financial industry experience and understands challenges and risks when implementing vertical applications


REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of D365 ERP Finance preferred and either Project, General Ledger or Accounting
  • 7+ years of hands-on consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP modules with focus on business modeling
  • Current Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP certification
  • 10+ years of experience with one or many industries such as: Finance, Insurance, Professional Services, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, HR, etc
  • Confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging software industry practice (SDLC)
  • Ability to perform impact analysis, identify changes to business processes, perform testing, and effectively communicate with business
  • Understanding of requirements management
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 ERP and MS Power Apps
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 ERP out of the box functionality
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management for Power Platform
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft project implementation methodologies
  • Ability to work individually or in a team environment, preferably having experience working in agile teams as a consultant
  • Ability to lead and own customer facing activities (such as workshops, requirements discussions, acceptance demos, etc.)
  • Understanding of the areas of application programming, QA, database, and system design
  • Comfortable engaging with senior technical stakeholders (architects, tech leads)
  • Experience in customer relationship management and critical issue handling
  • Ability to manage client expectations effectively including on-site work
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrable bias toward action
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation, negotiation and persuasive skills
  • Advanced level of spoken English

  • Knowledge of Virtual Agents (AI ChatBots), Power Portals, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Other (not MS) ERP/CRM solutions experience
